She couldn’t remember when she started seeing two worlds. Nor did she remember when she figured out one of them was a lie.
For as long as she could remember, there was always two worlds. But she never spoke of the other world to others. She didn’t exactly have anyone to tell. In one world she had a mom, a dad and an older brother. They were a noble family, given land to rule from the royal family. In the other, she was an orphan living on the streets, with no one to call her family or friend.
Somewhere along the line, she had figured out that she was the only one to see both worlds. It made sense, since she had never seen the same person in both worlds. And she saw a lot of people.
A few months later, she started calling them the Noble World and the Street World, due to her role in each world.
The species in both worlds were the same, but there was never a copy. There was no one like her. There was no one who also lived in both worlds.
Until she saw him.
